Celebrating Culture, Identity,

Inclusivity & Community

The Niagara African Multicultural Experience (NAME) is a vibrant cultural celebration designed to showcase the richness, diversity, and beauty of African heritage within the Niagara Region. This event creates meaningful opportunities to connect through culture, creativity, education, and shared experiences.

For many children and youth growing up outside their countries of origin, cultural connection plays an important role in building confidence, identity, belonging, and emotional well-being. This event supports that journey by creating experiences that encourage cultural expression, appreciation, learning, and community pride.

Hosted by Black Olive Child and Youth Centre, this annual multicultural experience welcomes everyone—families, educators, professionals, businesses, community organizations, and residents across Niagara to celebrate culture and inclusive community.
